This is a course you do not want to miss. The evening will begin at 8.00pm and will conclude at 2.00am, which usually covers the prime taking times on the river during the fishing session, but never fear, because if you wish to fish on after that period, the choice is yours. We will once again be fishing one of the prime beats on the river, where hooking up with one of these most acrobatic fish is a fantastic experience. If you have never indulged in this area of the sport before, I certainly recommend that you do so very soon. Even those of you that have, will know that once you have dabbled, it becomes addictive. We will start with some information about this enigmatic fish, and those of you who require some pointers on your casting can take advantage of the tuition session. We will then walk the beat, (answering any questions you may have as we do so) and take a look at the likely lies before darkness falls. Prior to heading off to do battle we will tuck into a tasty riverside barbeque, and hot beverages freshly made on site.

 

• All courses will include a minimum of two instructors/Guides.

• Course prices are based on a minimum booking of 4 people.

• Courses booked for 5-6 people, (maximum 6) will include three fully qualified instructors/Guides.

• Discounts are available for bookings of 5-6 people.

To avoid disappointment, please book well in advance)   Courses will run from 8:00pm to 2:00am and the cost will be £125 per person. A 50% deposit will be required to guarantee your place. All instructors are fully qualified, fully insured, and trained in first aid. All applicants must be in possession of a valid Environment Agency Rod License for Migratory Fish. A one-day license can be purchased online, or from any post office, at a cost of £7.00p Please bring chest waders, and waterproof clothing.
