Pike fishing courses are available once again in 2007. During the course, you can fish for pike using conventional methods, but we also encourage people to have a go at tempting these formidable fish with a fly. this is an exciting area of fly fishing that is fast becoming very popular, as anglers enjoy the power of the pike on light tackle. The flies that we use for these powerful fish, are usually much bigger than conventional flies, and therefore need a more advanced casting technique to get them out there, casting tuition to cover these techniques is included in the course for those who want to try this Exciting approach. Pike fishing "trips" can also be arranged from bank or boat to suit your personal preference.

 

• All courses will include a minimum of two instructors/Guides.

• Course prices are based on a minimum booking of 4 people.

• Courses booked for 5-6 people, (maximum 6) will include three fully qualified instructors/Guides.

• Discounts are available for bookings of 5-6 people.

 

Please contact me for details of the next available course dates (Bookings will be on a first come first served basis. To avoid disappointment, please book well in advance)   Courses will run from 10:00am to 4:00pm and the cost will be £125 per person. A 50% deposit will be required to guarantee your place. All instructors are fully qualified, fully insured, and trained in first aid. All applicants must be in possession of a valid Environment Agency Rod License for Non-Migratory Fish. A one-day license can be purchased online, or from any post office, at a cost of £3.25p Please bring Wellington's or waders, a packed lunch and waterproof clothing.
