Sea Trout Courses

Evening

Sea Trout

2023

Season: April 1st - September 30th

This is a course you do not want to miss. The evening will begin at 8.00pm and will conclude at 2.00am. This time frame allows for meeting up and also allows us to cover the prime taking times on the river during the fishing session.

We will once again be fishing one of the private beats on the river, where hooking up with one of these most acrobatic fish can be a fantastic experience. If you have never indulged in this area of the sport before, I can certainly recommend that you should do so at your first opportunity. Those of you who have, will know that once you have dabbled, it becomes addictive.

The evening will begin with some information about this enigmatic fish, and those of you who require some pointers on your casting can take advantage of a tuition session before putting it into practice. We will then walk the beat, (answering any questions you may have as we do so) and take a look at the likely hot spots before darkness falls. By that time you will ready for a hot beverage before heading off to do battle. Bookings now being taken.

  • All courses include a fully qualified and insured AAPGAI instructor.
  • Course prices are based on a maximum booking of 2 people and include beat tickets.
  • Hot beverages are available throughout the evening/night, but packed lunches are required.
  • Fly fishing equipment can be provided for a small fee of £10pp per day.
