ATTRACTIONS

The Lake District

 

The area has some fantastic walks, and thousands of walkers enjoy trekking along some of the 73 mile long Hadrian's wall that stretches from Wallsend to our very own Bowness-on-Solway.

Alternatively there are many walks in the nearby Lake District, like the one pictured below. as well as being able to enjoy a drink and a bar meal in one of the friendly pubs along the way.

If all the family do not wish to go fishing, then there are other attractions, such as Tullie House museum in carlisle, or why not visit the Famous Blacksmiths Shop at Gretna Green which is only 20 minutes up the road, and while you are there if you like to browse around the shops, then you can take advantage of the Gretna Gateway Outlet Village, where you will find an array of bargains to choose from.
